
Summer Academy Camps
Mini Medical School 1

Registration for camps opens February 1, 2024.
This exciting, week-long camp introduces you to the field of medicine through team-based learning, hands-on projects, games, and crafts about different body systems. Mini Med I camp is hosted at the University of Georgia’s Health Science campus, where you will enjoy access to unique labs, technology, and teaching resources. Learn to take a patient’s health history, practice lab skills during dissection, and work as a team in the state-of-the-art Sim Center during a simulated medical situation. Camps are led by current medical students at the Augusta University/ University of Georgia Medical Partnership who’ve collaborated directly with faculty and staff to develop an immersive, application-based curriculum to challenge, engage, and inspire you!

Location Info: | Classrooms are located on UGA’s Health Science campus, located about two miles from UGA’s main campus. Students may travel by foot, bus or university vehicle to get to classrooms or other camp activities. More details will be available in the welcome email sent out three weeks before camp begins. |
