Prerequisites:
No prior experience in media arts is necessary for this class. This course is suited for a student who is not just looking to expand their knowledge in traditional subjects but is also interested in discovering how diverse disciplines like media arts and STEM can creatively intersect to create something innovative and exciting.

Instructor:

Sahar Aghasafari

Sahar Aghasafari is an Assistant Professor in Art and Graphic Design at the University of South Carolina Lancaster. She received her Ph.D. in Art Education from the University of Georgia. She has more than ten years of teaching experience as a faculty and lecturer at universities, and she’s taught as a full-time teacher at K-12 schools. This is Sahar’s seventh year as a Summer Academy instructor.

What you need for camp:
Students need to bring a laptop or tablet with them to camp each day.


