Inspire your passion for drawing under the exquisite backdrop of the University of Georgia’s Lamar Dodd School of Art. Study the techniques used to create realistic and expressive drawings. Explore tools such as charcoal, ink, and pastels while learning the foundations of observational drawing. Explore techniques of measuring, perspective, value, and knowledge of human anatomy to ignite the spark of artistic expression. Learn from expert instructors giving live demonstrations as you practice your craft from live models. Prerequisites:
Some basic drawing experience is preferred, but this course is designed for students to learn the university approach to observational drawing and will be new for everyone. Each student will receive some individual feedback appropriate to their level.

What you need for camp:
Students will need to purchase a sketch book (5.5×7 or 9×12) to bring with them to camp.
