This position serves as the head of the Catering Services Department within the Food & Beverage Division of the Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel. This individual will oversee all off-premise catering operations, managing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality catering services for events held outside the Georgia Center. This role involves leading and managing a team responsible for off-site events, working closely with the culinary and banquets teams to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional service. The Manager of Catering Services will collaborate with clients to develop tailored catering solutions, manage the budget and financial performance for off-premise events, and ensure that all events meet or exceed client expectations. This position will also be responsible for developing and maintaining operational standards, training programs, and systems to enhance team performance and ensure consistent service quality. This individual will take a hands-on approach in executing events and may also assist with special events hosted by the Office of Special Events as needed. The role requires a dynamic leader who can balance the operational, financial, and client relationship aspects of catering services while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Salary:
$45,000 – $50,000*
